Used Norton COMMANDO for sale in Poole

Here we have for sale this classic bit of English history, which has matching frame, engine and gearbox numbers, as it left the factory. It also comes with its current V5C logbook.

The bike was fully built and restored by Terry Hobbs, with full Dunstall spec engine, and was placed into a museum collection.

It has now been brought to us, where we have recommissioned the bike with fresh fuel and a new battery. We currently have the motorcycle stored in our showroom with the fuel drained out. We have a video showing the bike running in our workshop.

The Dunstall Norton was a Norton motorcycle made by Paul Dunstall, a specialist tuner of the 1960s and early 1970s twins originally using some parts from Norton's Domiracer project when the Birmingham factory was closed in 1963. In 1966 Dunstall Motorcycles became a motorcycle manufacturer in its own right so that Dunstalls could compete in production races, and set a number of world records before sales of the Dunstall Nortons declined in the 1970s consistent with the demise of the British motor cycle industry and a corresponding rise in Japanese imports.

Please note:
Due to the age of this historic bike, it is sold as seen and no warranty is offered.
As with all bikes of this age, although we have no reason to doubt the mileage, we are unable to confirm it.
