Here we have for sale this stunning custom 1987 Moto Guzzi 850 T5 restomod by Side Rock Cycles!

Having recently owned a Moto Guzzi V85TT adventure bike in the same colour scheme and needing a second bike to exhibit at the 2025 London Bike Shed Show, Side Rock Cycles decided to build this special on-off, mimicking the V85 colour scheme using a Guzzi 850 T5 donor bike. The result was this "V85T5".

No expense was spared in this special build, and the work included:

- A beautiful paintjob by Wicked Coatings
- A loop added to the rear of the original Tonti frame
- Frame powdercoated in Ferrari Red
- Wheels polished and repainted with the Tricolore flag detail
- Engine inspected and rebuilt
- Ram single plate clutch with a lightened and balanced flywheel
- The transmission was pulled apart and treated to new bearings, seals and a re-shim
- Dellorto carbs topped off with alloy trumpets
- Full OS Pipes stainless exhaust system was fitted which gives a lovely deep tone
- A Le Mans tank, modified to fit
- A new alloy rear mudguard
- A new alloy seat base, fabricated to blend in with the new tank, be comfortable and be pillion-friendly
- Seat upholstered by Glenn Moger
- Under seat tray fabricated to house the Motogadget M-Unit and new Sasche digital ignition control unit
- New bespoke wiring loom, which feeds the new push button switches, LED lighting and Motogadget LED mini indicators
- Powerful but lightweight Antigravity lithium ion battery
- Ricks regulator rectifier
- New side panels
- Air assist front fork cartridges with new seals and oil
- Slightly longer, fully adjustable piggyback YSS shocks with Ferrari red springs to match the frame
- New Avon Roadrider tyres

Also included with the bike are its original owner's manual, workshop manual, and some receipts for parts / servicing.

The bike has covered just 161 miles since its rebuild and the current MOT runs until 18/06/2027 - so it now stands fully prepared and ready for its next lucky owner!

As you can see from the photos, this motorcycle is in excellent condition.
