The smooth, liquid-cooled 1203cc V-twin engine, producing 125 hp of power and 88.5 ft lbs of torque, has an impressively flat torque curve and strong acceleration throughout the RPM range. Progressive, predictable power delivery and plenty of flexible low-end punch make for an exhilarating riding experience whether commuting, slicing through the city, or escaping to the countryside.

For improved confidence and control, lean-angle sensitive stability control, ABS, traction control, and wheelie mitigation control can be modified by three Ride Modes (Sport, Standard, Rain) providing unique throttle responses and traction control intervention levels.
